Subject: Cargo with oxygen concentrators
Dear Tamar,
This is to inform you that a cargo with 29 oxygen concentrators has arrived to Tbilisi – also procured by WHO under the EU DG NEAR funded project (the donation certificate and Invoice are attached).
This is part of the Clinical management component and we expect under that component also ventilators, oxygen masks and pulse-oximeters (they will arrive later).
We will try to finalize customs clearance tomorrow and are ready to transport the cargo (825 Kg) to the ministry’s warehouse, or to any other place you’ll indicate to us.
As usual, both WHO and EU Delegation would appreciate getting a distribution list for the received goods.
We didn’t discuss yet about a potential handover event.
In my view it would make sense to have such an event when all the supplies under the clinical management component are here.
But if the oxygen concentrators are needed immediately, better to distribute them and not wait for the rest.
