Dear Tinatin,

Dear Colleagues

Please find below the request from our colleagues from Global Fund Project coordination team of Ministry of Health of Armenia. Thank you for help!

Please be advised that a shipment with antiretroviral medicines (air waybill number 235-58073912, 125 pieces, weight 1713.33kg (invoices are attached)) is planned to cross the Georgian border tomorrow to its final destination to the Republic of Armenia. The consignee of the shipment is the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia and the medicines intended for treatment of HIV patients are procured in the scope of the Global Fund supported grant program “Strengthening Control of TB and HIV/AIDS in the Republic of Armenia”.

So the truck transporting the above medicines is only transiting via Georgia to its final destination – Cargo terminal of “Zvartnots” international airport of Yerevan, Armenia.

Taken into consideration the delays in international shipments during the last several months resulted from COVID-19 situation and thus the currently faced shortage of the ARV medicines contained in the shipment, urgent attention and permit of the Georgian Ministry of Labor Health and Social is required today for the customs clearance process at the border. We have already sent a request to the info@moh.gov.ge address.

Kindly support  us in getting the Ministry’s positive feedback for this transfer.

Thank you very much and with kindest regards,

            Hayk
