·         Georgia strives to enhance bilateral cooperation on circular migration, which will provide for the temporary legal employment of Georgian citizens abroad and their subsequent return to Georgia. We believe that such cooperation will be beneficial for both parties; on the one hand, for the receiving states with the view to filling vacancies when the national workforce is lacking, on the other - for Georgia in terms of raising the qualification and skills of its own national workforce.

·         The facilitation of circular migration will also help to decrease the cases of irregular migration and illegal employment.

·         Georgia has already signed Agreement on Labour Migration with France, which has been already ratified by both states and will enter into force in the nearest future. There is also a pilot project ongoing with Poland, whereby Georgian national have been legally employed in Poland for a specific period of time.

·         We would appreciate strengthening bilateral relations and signing an agreement on labour/circular migration between our countries.

სს,
