I am writing this recommendation letter to support Dr. Gvantsa Khizanishvili’s application for the Global Health Delivery Intensive (GHDI) program at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH).

Gvantsa Khizanishvili is a manager of the City Cancer Challenge Foundation Tbilisi program supporting the country to deliver quality and equitable cancer care.  She played a critical role to identify challenges in strengthening the current critical cancer care services, and ensure appropriate activities are planned in response to the evolving health care system in Georgia.

Gvantsa was essential in bringing together a multisectoral high-level Executive Committee for cancer care and support collaboration and cooperation among multiple stakeholders. Through the process she showed her, commitment and passion to contribute to global health challenges starting with local impact,  mobilization and collaboration afford.  

I strongly support Dr. Khizanishvili’s candidacy to participate in the Global Health Delivery Intensive (GHDI) program. She is an extraordinary women leader in this field, I hope that committee judges her candidacy favorably.
