Many thanks for all your support in mobilizing Ms. Gamgebeli so quickly. Could you please kindly share her final scope and estimated workload for me to adequately plan for her inputs?

 I am glad to hear that the mission on SP/DRG is scheduled later October and that their scope will be extended to PHC financing and contracting arrangements for PHC providers. Having an additional expertise on the package of service at PHC level would be also great.

Attached is a draft PHC reform directions initial brief. This is in Georgian. We will elaborate it further based on the anticipated workshop in November.

Thanks also for all your assistance with the  Vienna conference. I am finalizing internal arrangements for have this trip authorized by the Minister and will process the registration fee immediately once the trip is approved.

This is to inform you that the contract of Lika Gamgebeli was fully processed and you can benefit from her assistance staring with Monday.

 

We are also in the process of planning next mission on strategic purchasing/DRG (29 Oct – 1 Nov) that will start also looking into PHC financing and contracting arrangements for PHC providers.

I am trying also to mobilize additional expertise to look at the package of services at PHC level.

In this regard, could you please share with us any available drafts/suggestions on the package of services? If they are in Georgian - no problem, we’ll take care of translation.
