We are pleased to invite you to the first UK-Georgia workshop on Control of Antimicrobial Resistance in Georgia, which has been organised in association with the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (BSAC), and Mott MacDonald. The workshop will be led by Professor Dilip Nathwani, OBE, a renowned international expert in Antimicrobial Resistance and Stewardship, and current president of the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, and Dr Lia Sanodze, Chief Specialist, Communicable Diseases Division, National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.
The workshop will draw on lessons learned from recent AMR risk audits conducted in Evex Hospitals and Aversi Pharma and provide guidance on developing antimicrobial stewardship and AMR surveillance programmes.
