Thanks for your reply, Hereby I confirm that the Tbilisi Central Warehouse, Kutaisi Regional Warehouse and Batumi Regional Warehouse all will have Ultra low temperature (ULT) freezers to store the vaccine. Thank you for sharing the redistribution considerations, this is very helpful.

Thank you Dr. Gabunia.  Please let me confirm that the Tbislisi Central Warehouse, Kutaisi Regional Warehouse and Batumi Regional Warehouse all will have Ultra low temperature (ULT) freezers to store the vaccine?  We do not need an official translation of the additional guidance the government has provided, we just would like to reconfirm the cold chain strategy for managing the distribution of the vaccine once it arrives to Tbislisi.  Thanks in advance – I’ve attached a resource that our supply chain team has developed in case you it may be useful for your team.  Appreciate the timely follow-up.

Many thanks for your e-mail and this update. Great to hear that the vaccines and diluent will be delivered this Wednesday. Attached you can find the National Vaccine Deployment Plan which provides consideration for storage and distribution of the ultra-cold chain vaccines. Beside this, the Governmental order specifies additional requirements for Pfizer vaccine administering clinical sites. We have it available in Georgian language. Please kindly let me know if you would like to have a copy in English.

Thank you for sending the executed agreements.  Our legal team is finalizing their review and hope to have fully executed documents to you shortly.  In advance of our call tomorrow, I am attaching two documents for your review that we will briefly cover  confirming details  of:

1.)    The importer of record and shipping locations for the vaccine and diluent and

2.)    Quality form required to be completed for each location the vaccine will be stored

The forms do not need to be completed ahead of the call as we will briefly discuss the requirements with you however as both are required for us to start the process of confirming delivery logistics, it would be great to have them returned by this coming Monday (or sooner if you already have the necessary information).  I will be sharing some additional information with you during the call – no need to prepare anything in advance as the rest of the items we hope will be relatively straight forward.  We are looking forward to meeting with you and the team tomorrow!

The Government of Georgia has been advised by the Director-General of WHO - Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus that one of the prerequisites for urgently accelerating deployment of Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine to Georgia was confirmation that the arbitration provision in the Indemnification Agreement and Side Letter is enforceable. With this e-mail I am sending the letter issued by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia confirming that the arbitration provision in the above mentioned agreement is enforceable in Georgia.  Please find the attached letter.

I look forward to our tripartite teleconsultation next week to finalize endorsement of the agreement and a side letter.
