Dear Allison
Many thanks for your e-mail and follow up. Mr. Gia Chavchavadze and Dr Eka Adamia will familiarize themselves with the costing model first. Would be helpful to have Irina and Kaki meeting them at the ministry to provide additional details as needed. After the team is ready we can then have a call with the WHO team.
I think by the end of next week the health policy unit will have this internal work done (we many ask Irina and Kaki to spend 2-3 hours with them) and we can go on from there.
With kind regards
Tamar

Subject: PHC Costing and Payment Model Webinars
Dear Tamar,
I am writing in follow up to the March 24 meeting of the PHC Task Force, in which you stressed the importance of familiarizing the Task Force with the costing and payment model developed by the WHO team. We propose holding two 2-hour webinars with the relevant Ministry staff to present the costing methodology and assumptions, review the payment model and address any questions. After the Ministry team has a chance to reflect on the details of the model we will hold a second meeting to address follow-up questions and/or the need to adjust the model. The sooner we can arrange these sessions the better.
1. Introduction to PHC costing and payment model (2 hours)
2. Follow-up discussion/adjustment as needed (2 hours)
Also please let us know who we can work with on the details of the meeting and who will be in attendance. We will send supporting documents to the participants in advance of the working meetings. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Allison
