Subject: Novovax

Dear Mr. Ajay Jha,

I hope this mail finds you well.  As you are well aware, Georgia has joined the COVAX Facility and made initial payment for securing 1.4 mln doses of vaccines for 20% of the country population (700 000 people), however, to guarantee required coverage of the population based on the National Deployment and Vaccination Plan, the country’s goal for 2021 is to immunize at least 60% of adult population.

At this very unusual and challenging time of global pandemic, we are hoping to expand our partnership with the Serum Institute of India and would like to initiate negotiations to supply of 1 mln doses of Novavax vaccines to Georgia. We are ready to start discussing all necessary requirements and go over formalities.

We hope that you find our proposal mutually interesting and strongly believe that it will be possible to expand already established partnership through initiating a new phase of collaboration with the Serum Institute of India.

Thank you in advance for consideration and look forward to our future cooperation.

Subject: RE: supply of AZD1222 to Georgia

Dear Mr. Ajay Jha and Mr. Manish,

Nice to meet you virtually. Further to my earlier email, if there are any formalities that we need to proceed with, please let us know. If a Teams meeting would be useful, we could get together as well.

Look forward to hearing from you.

With kind regards,

Sophie
