Subject: FW: Covax Pfizer Allocation - Georgia
Colleagues,
I am forwarding an email I sent to the Government of Georgia this morning confirming their allocation of Pfizer doses. The email contained confidential information in the attachments, which is why I did not copy you directly. However, you will find the allocation letter with the most important information attached.
Best
Rosie

Tamar,
My original email referred to another country in the second bullet. I have adjusted.
Apologies for this oversight.

Subject: Covax Pfizer Allocation - Georgia
Tamar,
We are pleased to confirm that you have been allocated the remainder of your pro-rata Pfizer-BioNTech BNT162b2 vaccines for the period through June 2021, within the framework of the COVAX Facility.
The attached letter includes the following information:
· Your allocation of Pfizer-BioNTech BNT162b2 vaccine doses for this period;
· Next steps that you must ensure for Georgia to successfully access allocated doses .
You will also find attached to this letter a Procurement Costing Annex summarizing procurement price per dose set by Pfizer, the Actual Procurement Price per dose, and the total purchase value owed by you.
Your allocation is 1170 doses, which brings you to your total pro-rata share of Pfizer-BioNTech BNT 162b2 vaccines. We acknowledge that it would have been simpler to have given you these at the time of your first shipment. The allocation model assigns average coverage to all countries and this is why it did not happen. However, we have adjusted the model so that if a similar situation occurs in future allocation rounds, this would be highlighted and the extra tray would be added to the shipment.
The timeframe between the issuance of a purchase order and the delivery arriving in-country may be up to 8 weeks. A Pfizer representative will be in touch about next steps.
As the attachments contain confidential information, I have not copied partners into this email. I will forward the email to them without the confidential information, with you in copy, so they are aware of this latest allocation.
As ever, if you require any further clarifications, do not hesitate to contact me.
Best wishes
Rosie
