Dear Dr Gabunia,

We’ve been requested by WHO HQ (Director, HQ/HHS, Dr Meg Doherty) to assist them in obtaining the nomination by the Ministry of Dr Ketevan Stvilia, to serve as a member of the Guideline Development Group (GDG) to update the WHO Guideline (WHO Consolidated Guidelines on HIV, Hepatitis and other STI Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment and Care for Key Population), referring to her extensive background in the area of key populations, HIV, viral hepatitis and other STIs.

It is expected that GDG members will participate in virtual meetings as needed, and to peer review the systematic reviews, evidence summaries, technical update and relevant chapters for the guidelines. The actual GDG, scheduled for June, will be setup virtually and will run for 5 days (10 sessions), 7-25 June 2021, from 13:00 to 17:00 GVA time, but this may change slightly over the next few months.

A concept note and draft agenda of the GDG meeting are enclosed for your reference.

Please send your response to Virginia Macdonald (macdonaldv@who), Annette Verster (versteran@who.int) and copy Belen Dinku (dinkub@who.int).

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Nino (on behalf of Silviu)
