Dear Maia,

Great to be in touch. Would you have a phone number we could use to have a quick call today perhaps? I understand you must be incredibly busy but I hope that we can help with vaccine communications. We should have everything in place for Zinc to deliver the campaign by Friday, so I will introduce you to the team once we have that all set up. If you have any questions please let us know.

Best,

Tom

Dear Maia,

In his meeting with Minister Tikaridze yesterday, my Ambassador offered UK support to the Ministry in your communications planning, alongside support our central Government Communication Service had been giving your Prime Minister’s office earlier in the pandemic. Specifically, we would be able to assist with the next stage of the USAID-funded plan developed by agency Zinc, if the Ministry would find that helpful. The Minister and Deputy Minister Gabunia welcomed the offer.

I would therefore like to introduce you virtually to my colleagues, Tom Noakes and Lika Shavishvili, who lead on strategic communications within the Embassy and who are in touch with Zinc. They would be pleased to discuss next steps with you and the Ministry’s PR division as soon as you wish.

Kind regards,

Clare
