Further to our phone conversation, please note that as part of its support to Georgia under the COVID-19 Active Response and Expenditure Support Program, ADB has set up a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team responsible for monitoring and evaluating implementation of the government’s Anti-Crisis Plan.

Activities under this output include (i) monitoring and evaluating implementation of measures taken to combat the spread of COVID-19 and strengthening of health sector response; (ii) monitoring and evaluating the impact of measures aimed at supporting affected private sector entities; (iii) monitoring and evaluating impact of temporary expansion of social programs under the Anti-Crisis Plan; (iv) and support relevant government agencies with compliance with reporting requirements under the design and monitoring framework of the CARES Program.

As the MEL team prepares to finalize its second ME report to ensure that we have the most updated data as well as a qualitative insight into any challenges Georgia may have faced during implementation of the Anti-Crisis Plan. In this regards, may we kindly seek your support to schedule a virtual meeting for Mr. Rogerio De Almeida Viera De Sa with Ms. Tamar Gabunia, First Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons From The Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.
