Dear Lika,

thank you very much for your message. It's good when we finally can start with the training. I suggest that we have an online conference early next week to discuss how to proceed. We could also invite Peter Woods, who is already confirmed as the training expert, to this meeting. As Peter lives in the UK he will most likely not be allowed to enter Georgia in September, but Ana and I can take over. To make best use of Peters experience we could agree with him on the training materials. He might also be included through online contributions depending on the technical organisation of the event.

In any case, I would propose to start with the training in the second week of September, since I plan to be in Germany from 17 - 30 August to settle some urgent issues, and I would need a few days after my return my to prepare the training and support with technical issues. Since nothing is certain currently, I might have to cancel or postpone this trip in order to not outmaneuver myself and getting trapped in Germany in case Georgia closes the borders again due to a second wave of infections in Germany. But I hope this will not happen.

Please let me know what you think about this.

Best regards,

Heinrich

Subject: Training for SESA staff

Dear colleagues,

I do hope you all are in a good health.

As the current process of recruitment of SESA staff is going to be finalized soon (not the final step though), we consider it necessary to start planning trainings for them.

We propose to conduct induction and professional trainings for current and newly contracted staff (mainly service providers) in the first week of September; we have to choose two venues (Tbilisi and Kutaisi) in order to cover staff of all offices.

What we know exactly for now is:

Number of trainees – 42, out of which:

6 - Head of the regional office;

10 – Employment consultant;

13- Career guidance consultant;

13 – Job coaches.

West Georgia (venue Kutaisi) – 16 trainees

East Georgia (venue Tbilisi) – 26 trainees

As to the duration of the training, we think 3 days would be enough. The first day for induction and other two days for professional training. It would be good if SESA management conduct the induction training.

Looking forward to your feedback.

Thank you!

Best,

Lika
