Dear All

I am writing to update you on responses so far to my email of yesterday (see below). Of the dates/times that I suggested yesterday, only 4th February at 16.00 seems to be possible because some people are not non-available on 3rd February. Could you please let me know ASAP whether 4th February at 16.00 suits you? If not, we shall have to explore alternative dates.

With best regards

David

Subject: Possible dates for the Third Steering Committee meetings of the Skills4Jobs TA

Dear Deputy Ministers, Colleagues

We are planning to hold an online Third Steering Committee Meeting of the Skills4Jobs TA Project early in February. The purpose of the meeting is to present and discuss progress in project implementation since the Second Steering Committee meeting which was held at the end of May 2020, and planning for the next implementation period. These issues will be included in the third six-monthly progress report of the project (September 2020 to February 2021) which will be drafted during February, and the views of Steering Committee members will be very important in helping us to draft the report.

The meeting will last no more than 2 hours. I am writing now to consult you on possible dates suggested by the EU Delegation, and should be grateful for an indication of whether either 3rd or 4th February would be convenient. I suggest a starting time of either 15.00 or 16.00 on either day.

I should be grateful for an indication of your preferred date and starting time. If neither date is convenient, I should be grateful for suggestions of possible alternatives that might be more convenient.

I am attaching for your information the second six-monthly progress report of the project, covering the period from March to August 2020. If you have any comments, please let me have them by 1st February. However, please bear in mind that the report covers only the period until the end of the second reporting period which ended in August last year. Although up-to-date until then, it does not include any developments since then, and you are advised that the log frame, activity schedule and other aspects of the reporting will be updated in the third progress report which we are now preparing.

I look forward to receiving details of your availability to take part in the meeting.

With best regards

David Handley
