Dear Niko and Tamar,

 

I hope this email finds you well!

 

The colleagues in the PIU kindly informed us that they are working on preparing documents needed to comply with the legal covenants and when these document can be finalized.  

Since the deadline has already passed (especially for the covenant on data protection and preparing  the global budget reimbursement manual), we have to restructure the project.

The restructuring can be (i) a standard project restructuring which amends the legal agreement, or alternatively (ii) a contractual waiver conditional on new timelines. Each option has pros and cons.

 

If you are available tomorrow or Wednesday, we would like to schedule a meeting to brainstorm on these options. At the meeting, our colleague Prachi, team’s lawyer, will brief us on how to proceed.  

 

We are available at 10:00 Washington time (18:00 Tbilisi) or later on Tuesday, July 7 and Wednesday, July 8.

 

Please let us know whether the proposed time/days works for you.
