Dear Ms Barkalaia, Dear Beka,

Thank you very much for resolving the issue with the venue so fast, and I am sorry if my previous email was too emotional as these news came in the context of ROM monitoring of this project, where I was alarmed on some important delays.

We hope that training courses will be smoothly reassumed and successfully completed. I am also glad that the new venue meets all conditions and there is necessary equipment in place.

Other project issues I am looking forward to discussing in the nearest Steering Committee meeting.

Kind regards,

Jurate Juodsnukyte

Dear Jurate,

I would like to inform you that yesterday late afternoon Beka confirmed  the availability of training premises at the European University. Just a couple of minutes ago we were there together (LCID staff and me) and we have agreed on  the conditions and technical issues.

I am very pleased that the training facility has  met all conditions (even ergonomy) for trainees and we can continue in the training process as planned.

I would like to thank the beneficiary for their effort.  If you would have time, I would be pleased to invite you to the training  any time it would fit you and to see our online training.

Best regards,

Valeria

Dear Ms Barkalaia,

I have just learned about unexpected situation regarding last minute suspension of the training courses, which were supposed to be provided by the twining experts to labour inspectors, this week due to cancellation of the training facilities (room), which was allocated for this activity by the Ministry.

Besides the fact that such action without any prior notice is not acceptable, also the project experts have allocated time for the training, which is not taking place. From my experience, we are quite lucky with this project team, which is really pro-active and flexible, but I am afraid there might be a limit to that.

In this context, I would like to kindly ask you to provide/find another location for these training courses as soon as possible, so they are not further delayed.

I hope this situation can be resolved over today-tomorrow.

Kind regards,

Jurate Juodsnukyte

Dear Beka,

because our training facilities are not available anymore and the message about this was communicated at the last minute, I would like to know what are the perspectives for having a training in the training room and how we can proceed.

As regards the training chairs and tables. Yesterday we agreed with Jurate to come and see our conditions at Asatiani. Before saying the final yes to start with the purchase of the tables and chairs she wanted to be sure that this is a real need. It's a pity she can't see the conditions we had in that building. Anyway, I  think we are on a good way and I hope  I will be successful in convincing the EUD to approve the purchase of tables and chairs.

The question is now if:

a)  we continue with the online training ( trainees sitting in the training room)

b)  we continue with the online training (trainees sitting at home)

c)  we stop the training and will be looking for a suitable training room

Maybe we can use some other facilities? Universities - they are online now, their premises should be empty; Union of employers - they have a big training room, maybe you know some other institutions.

Or, if you can find a bigger empty room when we put the tables and chairs which will be bought from the project? From the administration point of view it will not take more than 2 weeks. If we can go preliminary for 2 weeks training to some premises of other institutions  (Estonians  on physical agents and biological and chemical hazards)  and within 2 weeks we will manage  buying the tables and chairs and to put it into some empty bigger room we can place the trainees.

Please, let me know your decision. Experts have already made their planning in their labour inspectorates  and I need to let them know if they should change their plans.

I am in the office every day and available to discuss with you and find a solution.

Best regards,

Valeria
