Dear Tamuna,

I hope my message finds you well and you had some time to relax already.

I am writing to follow up on our last meeting and the next steps for the roll out of the social model. Based on the discussions we prepared a very short action plan that I am sharing for your review. We would really appreciate the opportunity to discuss it with you, which would allow us to proceed with the contract with GASW and organize the preparatory activities for the roll out. Ideally, such a discussion should also include a representative from the Medical Regulation Agency as there are a few points where we need their involvement. Do you think that it would be possible to meet this week? Anyway, we are available next week as well.

We have progress on the assessment of the pilot in Adjara. International consultant Peter Grimes provided his inception report. Data collection is planned for this month and we expect a draft report in September. We plan to discuss it with you, USAID and other key stakeholders. So far the approach is quite promising.

We might even organize a more formal event and involve our Representative, the Minister and USAID. What do you think?

Best regards,

Milena
