Dear Maddalena,

Thank you for your email. We will review and get back to you shortly.

We also have checked reimbursements against project indicators and elaborated number of scenarios to make sure that indicators are met. We will share our assumptions soon.

As for the double counting, of course  there is no such case. As you can see in the application and supporting documents, the previous reimbursement request  was made until September 15,2020, since we have requested audited transactions, which was made until this date. There were  two consequent transactions in September, after September 15.

All this will be clarified to the WB as soon as we will submit the reimbursement request of September remaining funds on UB. Thank you for your observation.

Kind regards,

Nino Kvernadze

Subject: RE: Projections 2021

Dear Nino,

Many thanks for confirming the expected date for the audit company and sharing the projections (we have comments below) .

Alicia kindly prepared the attached file monitoring the reimbursement requests submitted for expenses eligible under Category2  the number of beneficiaries covered , comparing them with the results framework targets. As discussed in our last week meeting we are below target for the number of beneficiary covered under the 300GEL benefit and for the TSA (no reimbursement submitted so far).

Hence, we recommend while planning your next reimbursement requests to consider prioritizing the reimbursement for the one-off benefit of 300 GEL and the TSA program scale up to ensure you reach the targets agreed as part of the results framework. Of course for the other benefit type you can surpass the targets by supporting more beneficiaries than planned.

Regarding the excel file you sent to us on projections for 2021 :

o   Under the projected disbursement #2 it seems the reimbursement for UB paid in September is included, and the Claim 3 was already covering June to Sept . Are we sure we are not double counting September here?

o   Based on the projections, 120,000 individuals benefitted from the One Off benefit (300 GEL) in December 2020. Could you please confirm this number ? If the number is confirmed, and if the corresponding amount will be submitted to WB (i.e. not covered by KfW), it means the target for the One Off Benefit will be achieved. PLease confirm if you plan to submit a reimbursement request against the one-off benefit of December 2020 beneficiaries.

Kind regards,

Maddalena
