Dear Maddalena,

Dear Volkan,

I hope you are doing well and enjoyed your holidays safely. Further to our cooperation, please find enclosed updated POM in track changes for your review and approval. Since we had to reflect information related to the new procedures and eligibilities  on compensations for the 2021, add regular TSA procedures, include new stakeholders and procedures on reimbursement of quarantine costs in non-health care settings, and other minor changes, please find below, short listing of what to expect from the updated POM.

    1. New stakeholders were added in the abbreviations, namely: the Georgian National Tourism Administration, Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, National Health Agency, State Medical Holding and State Security Police, along with the detailed descriptions of the scopes of these institutions;
    2. New chapter on Compensation packages envisaged for the 2021 FY (p.16) was added,  based on the Resolution N720 of the Government of Georgia dated December 2, 2020, with following updates (chapter 2.1). Worth noting, that mentioned amendments had no impact on procedures related to TSA compensations and they remain the same; however there are procedural changes in distributing unemployment benefits.
    3. Updates of relevant statistics. However please consider that we expect full updates on the year 2020, by mid-January;
    4. New Chapter describing Regular TSA component was added. The document defines Regular TSA as a compensation for category of extreme poor groups, with score 0 - 65,000. Statistics for this specific group was also updated (p. 22).
    5. The new Chapter 2.5 was added, which provides detailed description of the procedures related to the Reimbursement of Quarantine costs at non-medical facilities/hotels incurred by the Georgian National Tourism Administration;
    6. Annexes C and D were also updated based on the Resolution N720 dated December 2, 2020 amending the Resolution N286; New annexes: F, G and H of the document are dedicated to procedures related to Reimbursement of Quarantine costs at non-medical facilities/hotels incurred by the Georgian National Tourism Administration. The Annex F describes the requirements for Hotel Service Providers, while the Annex D is a draft of the contract signed between the Georgian National Tourism Administration and the Hotel Service Providers. Annex H, on the other hand, is a template of the invoice, which is used by GNTA to procure services from relevant hotels.

Looking forward to your feedback.

Stay healthy!

All best,
