It is my pleasure to invite you to the Joint Online Conference, held by Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia on September 21, 2020 (time: 12:00-14:00)

On July 8, 2020, a Letter of Intent was signed between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia (MoESCS) and World Economic Forum (WEF). MoESCS and WEF will collaborate in the direction of public-private partnership development under the framework of “Closing the Skills Gap Accelerator in Georgia” initiative. 

Cooperation between the World Economic Forum and the Ministry will focus on human capital development, lifelong learning and skills development, re-employment on the basis of labor market requirements, and the development of innovative skills financing models. 

Objective of the online meeting is to reflect on current reforms in VET system of Georgia, importance of the initiative “Closing the Skills Gap Accelerator in Georgia”, sharing best practice examples, discussion of future cooperation framework and establishment of Skills Agency.
