Dear DM Barkalaia
Further to our exchange of SMS messages, I am writing to confirm that the meeting to introduce the Skills4Jobs grant projects to representatives of beneficiary ministries and agencies will be held on
Friday 11th September, from 9.30 (coffee and registration) with presentations and discussion between 10.00 and 13.00.
I discussed options for the meeting this morning with Deputy Minister Tamar Kitiashvili and we agreed that it will be held on a face-to-face basis for those who are able to attend, and with online participation
of those who can’t. Each grant project should be prepared to make a short PowerPoint presentation of their project (maximum 15 minutes), and there will be time for questions and discussion about each project. The reason why we are encouraging people’s physical
presence is that we want the representatives of grant projects to get to know each other, which is more difficult online. For those attending in person, social distancing and the wearing of face masks will be required.
I am very pleased to know that you will be available to attend the meeting either in person or online. The venue will be confirmed as soon as possible, and an agenda will be circulated early next week.
Once again, many thanks for your cooperation.
With best regards
David
