Dear Mr. Charkviani
The EU Delegation has asked me to arrange a meeting to introduce the Skills4Jobs grant projects to representatives of beneficiary ministries and agencies on
Friday 11th September, from 9.30 (coffee and registration) with presentations and discussion between 10.00 and 13.00. I am now writing to you and/or Kristine Kapanadze to attend, together with any other representatives of the Youth Agency
whom you choose to nominate.
Deputy Minister Tamar Kitiashvili from MoESCS and Deputy Minister Tamila Barkalaia from MoIDPLHSA have already confirmed their participation.
The meeting will be held on a face-to-face basis for those who are able to attend, and with online participation of those who can’t. Each grant project should be prepared to make a short PowerPoint presentation
of their project (maximum 15 minutes), and there will be time for questions and discussion about each project. The reason why we are encouraging people’s physical presence is that we want the representatives of grant projects to get to know each other, which
is more difficult online. For those attending in person, social distancing and the wearing of face masks will be required.
If the proposed date is not convenient, we will find an alternative way of introducing the projects in the area of youth to the Youth Agency, but we very much hope that that the Youth Agency can be represented
at this event.
With best regards
David
DAVID HANDLEY
