To Whom it May Concern,
I’m Jeffrey Liebert, the CEO of Gazelle Finance, a U.S. financial institution with a subsidiary in Tbilisi, Georgia called Gazelle Finance Georgia LLC, where I’m the Executive Director. Our investors include the US International Development
Finance Corporation and the Georgian Partnership Fund. I’m a permanent resident of Tbilisi, Georgia, though during the COVID pandemic I ended-up getting stuck in the United States. I have been living in my stand alone home with my family in Washington
DC since March 2020. My family, Saltanat (wife) and my two daughters (Olivia age 9 and Adele age 6), will be returning to Tbilisi, Georgia with me on September 7th on a flight via Munich, Germany (flight # UA8756/LH2558).
We maintain a home in the Zurgovani Village (Triplex 2A) known as the US diplomatic compound which houses many of the US embassy and USAID expatriate staff. I believe there is a successful track record for this diplomatic compound with
self-isolating American families. I have conferred with both senior staff in the US Embassy (copied) and the Georgian Embassy, including the Deputy Chief of Mission, Giorgi Tsikolia (copied) about my family’s pending return to Tbilisi, Georgia and our desire
to self-isolate in our home in Tbilisi, Georgia. In addition, I have copied our two most senior officers in the company, Natia Janelidze (COO) and Miranda Kherkheulidze (CFO), as well as the board member from one of our Georgian investors, Giorgi Danelia from
the Partnership Fund, who are all prepared to provide a reference check if necessary.
Please see the attached self-isolation request forms. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Please note we will follow US government protocol and work with the US consular section (copied) to make an official request to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Sincerely,
Jeff
Jeffrey Liebert
CEO
