Dear Colleagues
Further to my email of Friday, I am attaching the draft agenda for the VET donor presentations event, to be held online on the fifth and final day of the MoESCS Georgian Skills Week. The EU Skills4Jobs TA team
is organizing the event on behalf of the MoESCS.
The event will be held on Friday 11th December 2020 from 10.00 to 13.30.
I should be grateful for confirmation that your programme will be presented at the event, and also for the name of the presenter(s). (I have tentatively suggested some names – marked in yellow – but these can
of course be changed according to your wishes.) Due to time constraints, I am afraid that each donor presentation is limited to 15 minutes. It will be helpful to receive PowerPoint presentations early next week so that they can be uploaded for the event.
I hope you will be able to participate, and I look forward to receiving your confirmation.
With best regards
David

Subject: Save the date: VET donor presentations event, in the MoESCS "Skills Week", 11th December 2020
Importance: High
Dear Colleagues
As you may already know, MoESCS has decided to hold a
Georgian Skills Week 2020 (provisional title) with a number of online events during the week commencing 7th December. These include online conference sessions on 7th, 8th and 10th December, and a presentation
event for the EU Skills4Jobs grant projects on 9th December. The TA to the Skills4Jobs programme is providing technical support to the MoESCS including a Zoom platform that will facilitate the participation of 100 participants in each event (in
Georgian and English), together with online streaming via YouTube for those who are not directly participating.
MoESCS has now decided to include an additional event at which VET donors will be asked to present their assistance programmes, including upcoming plans.
The event is intended to provide information about VET donor programmes for key persons responsible for the development and implementation of VET policies. The target group for the event will be a group of invited
representatives of public and private sector stakeholders, and it will not be streamed to a wider audience. Deputy Minister Tamar Kitiashvili has asked the TA team of the Skills4Jobs programme to organize it on behalf of MoESCS.
The event will be held online on
Friday 11th December 2020 from 11.00 to 14.00 (provisional timing) and I hope that all VET donors will be able to contribute to the event by making short PowerPoint presentations (up to a maximum of 20 minutes in length) about their programmes,
and participating in a question, answer and discussion session.
I will circulate a draft agenda at the beginning of next week. In the meantime, I hope you will
save the date and confirm the availability of representative(s) of your programme to participate.
With thanks, and best regards
David Handley
