I just discussed your proposal for changes in article 1.1.2 of the separate agreement with HQ. They very much understand your concern that some of the measures outlined in the original World Bank project are outdated and we are happy to accept a more flexible approach. However, it is important for us to underline that we cannot implement our project without the WB Covid-19 project and the existing PIU at the MoILHSA. We would therefore very much like to mention here that we are co-financing the World Bank project. We would propose the following wording based on your initial proposal:

The Project is strictly focused on the Emergency COVID-19 response social protection measures implemented by the Government of Georgia and co-finances the World Bank Emergency COVID-19 Response Project. The design of the Project is based on the documents “Project Appraisal Document” as approved by the Board of the World Bank on April 2, 2020 as well as the “Project Operations Manual” (the “POM”) outlining details of the Emergency COVID-19 Response Project as approved by the World Bank both available to KfW and MoILHSA.

Dear Klaus,

I am sending the final versions of LA da GA of the Social project. We confirm that these are the final versions from our side. We have made just technical changes like name of the Ministry of Health and contact information for MoF. As you know we do not have fax so I`ve put there the operational email for our department.

As for the Separate Agreement, I`m also sending the draft document with track changes in “project design”. Please let us know if this wording is acceptable.
