I would like to reaffirm the readiness of our office to work together to evaluate and improve infection prevention and control systems in medical facilities.

The first step is to pilot the IPC system and the readiness assessment questionnaire and the electronic data collection tool.

Employees of the Ministry's Health Policy Division, LEPL Agency for Regulation of Medical and Pharmaceutical Activities and the US Office of the South Caucasus Disease Control will participate in the project.

The pilot will be conducted in the clinics identified by the list provided by the Health Policy Division.

Deadlines for project implementation: Fieldwork - August 24 - September 20, Final Report - September 30.

Expenses for business trips, transportation, and accommodation for your staff participating in the study will be provided by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Also, our office will provide the necessary electronic equipment and other supporting materials to the research groups.

We will send you the project protocol and the list of medical institutions as attached documents.
