Dear colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well.
Hereby I would like to share with you that the NHC is now accepting applications for the first three Matra Rule of Law Training programmes of 2020: Integrity of Civil Servants, Administration of Justice and Human Rights and Minorities.
Integrity of Civil Servants and Administration of Justice both taking place in Leiden and The Hague from 11 – 20 March 2020. The deadline for submitting an application for Integrity of Civil Servants is Sunday 5 January 2020 – 12:00 pm (CET). The deadline for submitting an application for Administration of Justice is Sunday 12 January 2020 – 12:00 pm (CET).
Human Rights and Minorities takes place in The Hague from 1 – 10 April 2020, and the deadline to submit an application is Sunday 2 February 2020 – 12:00 PM (CET)
The training Integrity of Civil Servants is intended for senior civil servants and policy makers at public institutions from different levels of government (national, regional, local) such as Ministries, local governments, municipalities and anti-corruption agencies charged with the development, implementation and enforcement of integrity policy for civil servants in their respective countries.
This year the training Administration of Justice will focus on those active in the area of administrative law. Participants who can offer a valuable and active contribution to the learning process and who are in the position to implement the newly gained knowledge and insights in their respective organisations are favored.
As for the training Human Rights and Minorities, the target audience will be persons holding senior positions in State bodies that are working on monitoring and improving the implementation of internationally agreed human rights standards. They can come either from independent institutions (such as National Human Rights Institutes, Ombudsman bodies) or from government ministries.
