Subject: Congratulations on Successful TAG Meeting
Dear Drs. Sergeenko, Lagvilava, and Amiran,
I wanted to take this opportunity and offer my congratulations, it was really excellent opportunity to showcase the wonderful work. I also wanted to f/u on a few things, for consideration:
1. We like to propose the week of 4 March of the Workshop this year. please advise if this week would work, I think it will still focus on decentralization of services, but we can determine another agenda. let us know if that week, likely on Wed and Thur, would work.
2. You will be receiving the TAG Recommendations, hopefully in a few weeks. We are working to support Paul on this task.
3. There has been a new DVH Director selected, Dr. Carolyn Wester, we will send you the announcement. Paul was in an "Acting" role and served for quite some time, we really appreciate his leadership and that he Chaired the TAG this year.
4. We discussed the concept of "Twinning HCV Elimination Program with US, Cherokee Nation HCV Elimination. I would be happy to discuss further, and hear your thoughts. We think this would allow for more visibility in the US of your great Georgia Program, and exchange lessons learned.
5. We are working to inform the visit of Dr. Redfield, and will further coordinate with you on this.
6. We are working to secure a Georgia Special Session for EASL in April in Vienna, to showcase the Center of Excellence, in collaboration with EASL Foundation.
Please let us know your thoughts, and I am happy to have a call and speak anytime.
Best Regards for Merry Christmas Season, and Happy New Year for you and your family
Francisco
