Subject: Module II of 12th Inquiry on Population & Development: Missing Data Request - Georgia

Message sent on behalf of Mr. Benoit Kalasa, Director, Technical Division

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing in regards to Module II of 12th UN Inquiry on Population and Development for which we are delighted to have received the response from your country. As you know, Module II provides critical information for global monitoring of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) indicator 5.6.2, on countries with laws and regulations that guarantee full and equal access to sexual and reproductive health care, for which UNFPA is the custodian agency and UN DESA is a partner agency.

In reviewing the data you provided for Module II we noticed that there was information missing for a few questions and we are getting in touch today to kindly ask if you could provide us with this additional information. This will enable us to collect the information required for monitoring SDG 5.6.2.

The questions for which information is missing from your country's input on Module II, are the following:

· 2.34 d

· 2.35 d-e

If you could kindly provide us with the answers to these questions by June 26, 2019, this would be most helpful. Please note that for some of the other countries we have worked with on missing data, the information for these answers has come from one of the following sources: the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry on Population issues and if present, the Ministry on Women. You may want to reach out to your counterparts in these ministries.

Please provide us with the responses to the questions either directly by email or by resending to us the PDF with the questions filled in.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us should you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Suet Sen (Ellen) Chau
