Dear Ms. Marina Darakhvelidze,

 

I hope this email finds you well.

 

I’m writing to you by recommendation of my colleague from USAID Giorgi Khechinashvili.  We are looking for nominations for the Open World program on Health Care Policy Making, scheduled to start on 20 February, 2019. Attached you can find the program description and nomination and selection criteria, as well as the nomination from.

 

To nominate your candidates(no more than two), please complete the attached “Open World Nomination form” and send it to my email in Word format.  Please provide the nominee’s contact information – email and cell phone number.


The candidates must meet the following criteria:

-          No prior participation in an Open World or Open World-affiliated program;

-          No prior U.S. travel (some limited travel could be ok, but not on any other J1 programs);

-          Interest in developing professional ties with American colleagues and open to pursuing joint projects;

-          Willing to make presentations and share information about Georgian history and culture;

-          Likely to apply the experience to their future work or within their community;

-          Open to taking an active part in the Open World alumni network.

 

English fluency is not required; interpretation is provided throughout the program.
