I understand this is a quite busy time for you and your team. Please do let us know if we can be of any support. With this email, FYI, below are the kinds of support some ECA countries are requesting the Bank as responses to COVID-19 crisis. Let me know if Georgia would like to seek any similar support.
Status of COVID-19 Response Program by country. The requests from various client countries have been coming in and while the list is evolving, here is the latest (please note that requests are have been increasing and we will update on regular basis. The amounts are also evolving as these operations are being prepared.
1) Tajikistan: Government request received on February 10. Current grant allocation is US$7.5 million. Proposed scope of the project covers procurement of medical supplies and equipment, hospital equipment, surveillance, training, construction of emergency medical facilities, medical waste disposal, community outreach and emergency social support payments. Expected approval date is March 26.
2) Kyrgyz Republic: Request received on March 3rd. Proposed scope covers procurement of medical supplies and equipment, hospital equipment, surveillance, training, surge capacity for service delivery and outreach activities. Current allocation is US$8.1 million. Expected approval date is March 26.
3) Uzbekistan: Request received on March 11. Estimated allocation is US$30 million. Details to follow.
4) Kosovo: Estimated allocation is US$7.9 million. A health team is currently visiting the country and exploring the scope of support that might be needed.
5) Moldova: Formal letter forthcoming and MOH already engaged with team on the needs for support. Estimated allocation is US$11.4 million.
6) Bosnia. Request received from RS March 11 and likely to get one from Federation. Total amount allocated for the country is $20 million.
7) Ukraine. Government requested support last Friday. Likely to proceed as a new component part of the AF that is currently under preparation. Total amount allocated is $35 million.
8) Kazakhstan. Indication of interest just received. Will add details once we get more information.

Many thanks for your call and inquiring about our needs in relation to COVID-19 Response. As discussed I am sending the list of needed commodities as recommended by WHO. Any assistance on needed items would be appreciated. As I've mentioned to you, we've also address UN agencies with similar request. However, so far we did not receive any confirmation on possibility of assistance.
