Coming soon…
Survey for the evaluation of the activities of the Population Unit
Our activities to advance intergovernmental work towards the implementation of the 2017 Lisbon Ministerial Declaration and MIPAA/RIS commitments will be evaluated by an external consultant this summer. As part of the evaluation exercise,
the consultant will invite you to provide feedback via a short survey that will be sent to you in July.
We encourage you to participate as your feedback will be important for the evaluator and help us identify ways to improve our inter-governmental activities going forward.
Older Persons in Emergency Situations
Work on the current policy brief on this topic is under way. We have contracted an experienced consultant who is currently preparing an annotated outline identifying different types of emergency situations that will be covered. We will
share this outline with you soon indicating areas on which we invite you to share policy examples. We would like to take the opportunity to thank all those of you who already shared good practice examples.
Guidelines on Mainstreaming Ageing
We are pleased to let you know that we are currently finalizing the first draft of the Guidelines on Mainstreaming Ageing which we will share with you for comments and inputs in July. There will then be a two-month period until early September
for your review in order to leave sufficient time to revise the draft before the Working Group Meeting in November.
With best wishes from all of us in the Population Unit.
