Dear Reference Site colleagues
Below you can find a small bunch of pieces of news that can be of interest for you.
The Universitat Rovira I virgili, member of the D4 Action Group, is looking for a local, regional or national health or care organisation to take part in the joint WE4AHA and DigitalHealthEurope Twinning
programme as adopters. They would like to transfer the SoCaTel co-creation platform, developed in the SoCaTel project, funded by the H2020 programme.
SoCaTel is a platform through which digital co-creation can be carried out, involving all stakeholders (services providers, end users and family, professionals and researchers).
SoCaTel enables the co-creation of long-term care services starting from:
1. Co-ideation of real user needs or ideas.
2. Co-definition of these ideas.
3. Co-design of services amongst different stakeholders.
4. Co-development, connecting service providers and entrepreneurs
with stakeholders’ ideas and needs.
5. Co-validation, testing the services with stakeholders
to provide feedback and improvements
The SoCaTel platform helps to contribute to the transformation
and innovation of long-term care
services, leading to a more sustainable, balanced and
cohesive society. The SoCaTel platform:
· provides a more cost-efficient
way of developing long-term care services.
· improves the satisfaction of older people and
their carers by meeting their real needs and
ensuring their direct involvement in service design.
· facilitates large-scale discussions for
co-creating long-term care services.
· provides a knowledge base, including
a list of services available in real time.
· builds a virtual community where participants
can offer each other support, helping to combat other problems such as isolation.

Please contact we4aha@funka.com if
you are interested in this partner search and we can put you in touch with the originator organisation.
The European Commission is currently experiencing problems with some of its websites. The EIP on AHA portal has unfortunately been affected by this, with some elements of the platform not working. This includes all functions
that require access via ECAS login, along with some links to external information resources. The technical team is working hard to try and solve these problems. We will inform you as soon as everything is back up and running.
TEMPORARY SOLUTIONS:
ONGOING CALL FOR TWINNINGS: The ongoing EIP on AHA Call for Twinnings requires the Originator to upload their innovative practice on the Repository of Innovative Practices. As this
service is currently not available, we would ask you to send your innovative practices through to
we4aha@funka.com.
NEWS/EVENTS/LIBRARY ITEMS: If you would like to post a news, event or library item on the portal, please send them through to
we4aha@funka.com.
COMMITMENT TRACKER TOOL: If you would like to add a new commitment or update an ongoing commitment, please send it through to
we4aha@funka.com.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Best regards
The WE4AHA Team
