Dear members of the UNECE Standing Working Group on Ageing,
We hope that our message finds you well. We would like to provide a few updates, and to call for your involvement.
Guidelines for National Reporting
We are happy to launch the 4th review and appraisal of MIPAA/RIS (MIPAA+20). The Bureau has finalised the national reporting guidelines, and they can be found here: http://www.unece.org/population/mipaa/reviewandappraisal.html

Timetable for 13th meeting of the SWGA

Call for countries to present within Item 4
You will note that Item 4 of the 13th meeting of the SWGA will be dedicated to hear from country experiences with regards to aligning policy measures and strategies on ageing with the Lisbon Ministerial Declaration and 2030 Agenda
on Sustainable Development. Please reach out to us if you would like to volunteer to present an example.
Update on Joint Programme on Ageing
On 1 October, the International Day of Older Persons, together with our partners the United Nations Population Fund, World Health Organization, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and HelpAge International,
we launched a new joint programme on ageing, “Building forward better in light of COVID-19: Upholding the rights and dignity of older persons through health, social care, and enabling environments in Europe and Central Asia.” Please find further information
