Dear Mariana,
Thank you for organising this call today morning! Here is a summary of agreed next steps.
1. Claims management SOP: feedback was
sent by WHO consultants, email from March 18. SPS WG will prepare the revised version (by April 1).
General comments:
- keep in
mind that concrete persons (positions), not structural units, are responsible for activities;
- SOP refers
to the different criteria and methodologies - include them to the SOP if they are general, otherwise add reference or add them to the appendix;
- In case
of refusal, please describe briefly next steps or add reference to the relevant document describing the next steps.
2. Reporting and planning SOP: SPS WG will
draft the next version of the narrative SOP following the example of claims management SOP (by April 1).
3. SSA’s new structure and transition plan:
- SPS WG will
review the word and xls document to ensure that functions are aligned in both documents
- Consider
starting with the structural reform from the headquarter level and then move to the branch offices level – revise transition plan accordingly, follow the quarterly milestones in the SP Strategy
- Final review
of the structure and transition plan will be done during the next mission.
4. SP Strategy 2019 Q1 report (by April 1):
- Please prepare
the report focusing on the planned 1st quarter milestones by providing overview:
i. What
was done and achieved (outcomes!);
ii. Is
this in line with the plan? If not, what are the reasons? Next steps to be back in track;
iii. If
possible, describe how your activities and achievements have been contributing to achieving your goals (indicators).
- Try to follow
the draft reporting and planning SOP.
- Do not forget
that the owner of the activity is responsible for reporting: writing summary and presenting that during the reporting meeting.
5. Mapping of vertical programs (by April 1): please take 5 biggest providers (who have many vertical
and UHC programs) and prepare a table for 2018 by all vertical and UHC subprograms showing the total money spent on each program and number of cases/patients by each program. As a result, there will be 1 table for each provider showing the summary of all programs
together.
Please let us know if you'd like to clarify anything.
With best,
Triin

Dear Triin, Dear Andres,
Hope you are well, please find enclosed documents that SPS WG members together with the deputy minister Mrs. Gabunia would like to share with you, These are:
(1) New SSA structure with comments on feasibility and steps to be undertaken during the transition period (incorporated in one Excel file)
(2) Narrative description of the new structure and staff roles
(3) Draft SOP for claims management under the reorganized SSA
We look forward to discussing this further during the conference call on March 19th.
With best regards,
Mariana
