I would like to know what is a protocol for the interview process, more precisely:

Prior to Interview
  • Composition of the interview committee - you must have a special decree for that 
  • Do you have a short list of candidates for each position. What are the criteria used for short-listing?  
  • How many applications per position did you get? How many are shortlisted for each position. 
  • Short listed candidates along with their application (CVs) and evaluation matrix must be shared with  interview panel members 
  • Interview questions for each position. Is that a competency based interview? Which questions will be asked by which member of the committee?
  • Interview rating form to be used
  • How much time you allocate per interview.
During Interview
  • At interview, provide background information to the project
  • First question to be asked by (?) 
  • Throughout interview, interview panel members to take notes individually. They have to have a matrix. 
  • Last question to be asked by (?)... "Do you have any question for us"
After Interview
  • Interview panel to discuss and try to reach consensus for each case
  • Who will write up the interview notes.
  • Collect the interview rating form which needs to be signed by all interview panel members.  
Evaluation Report needs to be prepared with the final recommendation on the best suitable/selected candidate.

This is a subject to post review and the whole process will be audited.
