Dear Tamar,

With reference to the communication below, I have drafted a few pages to describe the proposed action to support the Ministry of Health to minimize the coronavirus outbreak impact on the communities and health care system of Georgia. I share this proposal with you and hope that you find it useful to structure the needs assessment accordingly or in any other way. Once the needs assessment will be available I can revise the proposal and prepare the action document accordingly.

Thank you for your consideration.

Best wishes,

Lajos

Dear Tamar,

Ay preliminary assessment which will accompany the list of needs would be highly appreciated. This will help us to speed up the support intervention formulation. I put in copy of this correspondence our Health expert  Lajos who will help us in formulation of the support.

With my best regards,

Nika

Dear Tamar,

I thank you very much for your prompt reply to my email. Regarding eligible activities/support – in principle both the equipment and expertise could be requested. We cannot promise that all needs could be covered, but some essential ones would be considered by the Commission services.

With y best regards,

Nika

Dear Tamar,

With this email let me approach your Ministry regarding the health system needs that could mitigate socio-economic impact in medium term prospective. We are about to activate the mechanism which allows to quicker respond to the country needs caused by COVID-19 and beyond (the immediate needs caused by COVID-19 will be responded by the Commission services in coordination with  WHO separately).

Look forward for your feedback,

Nika
