Dear Annetee, Sonila and Monika,

Congratulations on the new initiatives as a way of sharing the information on social policies in SEE and keeping the network active!

Regarding Initiative 1, a newsletter concerning the Bridge Building region, I am proposing two recent publication that I have contributed with a chapter on Albania:

1.       After two years of activities of COST Action IS 1409 “Gender and Health Impact of Policies on Extending Working LifE" 2017-2018, the research activities were finalized with members' contributions in a common publication, the first one and another is still in process.

The book  "Extended Working Life Policies International Gender and  Health Perspectives", 2020 published by Springer: https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007%2F978-3-030-40985-2

2.        For the first time, the Eurofound was extended the Quality of Life Survey 2016 in Albania as well as other Western Balkan countries have been included in that survey such as Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Turkey. The results are published in a separate book from the results of the EU-28 countries by the Publications Office of the European Union, Luxembourg in 2019: https://www.eurofound.europa.eu/sites/default/files/ef_publication/field_ef_document/ef18032en.pd

3.       The network of LSE has a publication in 2018 a book “Fiscal Decentralisation, Local Government and Policy Reversals in South-Eastern Europe”, Palgrave publication: The book is also offered on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fiscal-Decentralisation-Government-Reversals-Southeastern-ebook/dp/B07FLSCQ11/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1541582072&sr=8-1&keywords=Fiscal+Decentralisation%2C+Local+Government+and+Policy+Reversals+in+Southeastern+Europe , as well as on Springer's website
https://www.springer.com/gp/book/9783319960913

I was presenting publications in the last three years 2020, 2019, 2018 which might be with interest for those like me who teach subjects such as social policy and comparative social policies.

Thank you for offering us such opportunities.

With very kind regards,

Merita
