Dear Partners,
The WHO decade in Healthy ageing 2020-2030 refers to the second action plan of the WHO Global Strategy on Ageing and Health consisting in a of sustained, catalystic, concerted
collaboration.
It is an "opportunity to bring together governments, civil society, international agencies, professionals, academia, the media, and the private sector for ten years of concerted,
catalytic and collaborative action to improve the lives of older people, their families, and the communities in which they live."
The quadruple helix of the Reference Sites of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing are an opportunity to operationalise the Decade by implementing
a lifecourse approach that is based upon the set up and exchange of innovative, validated good practices.
The RSCN is pleased to share with you the RSCN and AGs endorsement letter to the WHO proposal, attached, committing to contributing to the creation and implementation of
policies that benefit older populations, fighting against ageism and look forward to working with WHO in achieving health equity for all.

The RSCN
