RSCN GENERAL ASSEMBLY – POSTPONED

Dear Sirs,

The RSCN General Assembly was scheduled for this Wednesday 9 September. During the meeting we would have presented the 2019 Financial Accounts for approval. The Accountant has advised us that he will not have the Financial Accounts completed in time for Wednesday's meeting.

Unfortunately, this means we need to postpone Wednesday's meeting and reschedule for another date later in September in order that we can provide the approved Financial Accounts to the relevant public authority in Belgium before 30 September.

We apologise for this inconvenience and will be discussing the matter further with our accountant. As soon as we know when the Financial Accounts will be received we will write again to inform you of the revised date and time.

Thank you for your understanding.

Regards

Jean Bousquet       Maddalena Illario        Ana Carriazo

Objet : RSCN: SAVE THE DATE - RSCN GENERAL ASSEMBLY_ 9 September 2020

Dear Reference Site Coordinator

SAVE THE DATE - RSCN GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The 3rd General Assembly of the RSCN will be held on Wednesday 9 September at 10:00am C.E.T. Because of the restrictions with COVID-19 the meeting will be held virtually and connection details will be circulated closer to the event.

The RSCN Executive Board are currently preparing the Agenda for the General Assembly. In addition to Reports and Updates from the Executive Board on our activities over the financial year we will also hold elections to a number of vacant positions for Strategic Members on the Executive Board. To be eligible for one of these positions a Reference Site must be a Strategic Member and have paid its fees for 2020.

Should any Reference Site wish to become a Strategic Member some of the additional benefits include:

  *   Increasing your Reference Site's visibility across Europe
  *   Promoting and showcasing your Reference Site's evidence-based innovation through:
     *   RSCN webinars
     *   Speaking opportunities at RSCN events
     *   Promoting opportunities for your Reference Site at other international Health and Care / Active and Healthy Ageing events
  *   Helping your Reference Site to target and develop connections to key stakeholders in other Reference Sites within our network
  *   Reduced Management Services and Advisory Fees, for example Expert mentoring and tutoring support in the design and implementation of local strategies
  *   Financial Support for 1 representative from the Reference Site to attend an RSCN approved event (1 per year)
  *   Eligibility to be nominated to one of the positions on the RSCN Executive Board reserved for Strategic Members; and therefore be able to inform the future strategy of the organisation

Strategic Membership is available for €5000 per year.
If you would like to become a Strategic Member please contact Gabrielle Onorato, RSCN Business Support Administrator go.rscn@outlook.com>

We will write to you again regarding the elections and seeking Expressions of Interest to be nominated to one of the Strategic Member positions.

In the meantime we would ask you note your diary for the General Assembly on 9 September 2020.
