Greeting from Geneva! This is to follow up on our earlier communication of the concept note for potential assistance from the Czech Development cooperation. May I kindly ask for clarification on how this mechanism works? Would you expect the ministry to develop its own concept note (reflecting priority areas we’ve discussed and which are articulated in your e-mail below) in a given format and submit it to you? Or would you expect the ministry to review the concept notes developed by potential implementing partners (e.g. Czech Caritas) and provide it’s support? Dr.Chkubianishvili has approached us with a kind request to review the Caritas concept note to make sure that it synergized with our thinking and approaches. In order to avoid double submissions I would appreciate your advice on this process.

thanks for today meeting. It was very productive because we had an opportunity to specify potential fields of future cooperation in Health Care personally. We discussed ongoing projects as well. They would be springboard for future.

As we discussed today, here are strategic priorities for Czech Development cooperation with Georgia:
- Territorial focus: Dusheti and Zugdidi district (secondary: remaining parts of Samegrelo and Mtskheta-Mtianeti regions)
-  Prevention, timely diagnosis and better access to quality treatment of non-communicable diseases (especially oncological diseases and diabetes).
- Improvement of qualifcation standards across the healthcare system, establish career-long learning programmes for healthcare professionals,
- Introduce a healthcare quality control system.

We would like to identify relevant projects consisting balanced mixture of technical assistance, qualification improvement and delivery of equipment.
