Subject: Application forms

Dear Maia,

I hope this email finds you well.

My name is Kim Matthis and I am working with the EUMM Confidence Building Facility (CBF), a small program aiming to support confidence building across the Administrative Boundary Lines in Georgia. The EUMM AHoM, Ms. Catherine Fearon, asked me to reach out to you in regard of a possible grant to the MoH, with the aim of supporting purchase and handover of equipment for efforts in the combat against COVID-19 in Abkhazia and/or South Ossetia.

We have received an initial list of equipment (attached) needed in Abkhazia, and have a budget limitation of EUR 40.000 for this possible action. With the budget limitation in mind, and in order to swiftly proceed with the decision process, I would kindly ask you to fill in the forms attached (1. Application form, 2. Budget form and 3. Log frame.) and submit them to me, in soft copies, during next week.

Budget

We have the limitation of only having a possibility of providing a grant for an action where the procurement process will not start until after the grant contract is signed, or in rare occasions, has started but no costs have occurred/no equipment have been delivered when contract is signed. During the reporting phase of a possible grant, in addition to financial and narrative reports as well as other supporting documents, there is a need to provide a signed transfer of assets ownership, which you will find attached in this email together with general conditions of the possible grant.

Please do not hesitate contacting me should you have any questions at this point, I am happy to assist.

All the best,

Kim
