Dear Ketevan,

I’m well, hope you are too! I’m adding my fiancé (new development J ) to this message.

Great that we can meet for dinner on the 23rd. Would it be ok if you pick a nice restaurant for us?

We actually went ahead and booked our hotels last night, and the plan is a bit different from what we were thinking about. But it seems that everything we have planned is worth seeing.

We decided not to go to the coast to Batumi so we have less traveling and more time to do things. And we’ll be spending more time in Tbilisi. We are doing:

·          Tbilisi 23rd and 24th

·         On the 25th we go to Kazbegi (spending the night, going to Gergeti Trinity Church etc.)

·         Tbilisi again on the 26th

·         On the 27th we go to Sighnaghi for one night. I’m glad this is something that you’re suggesting as well J

·         28th through to the 30th Tbilisi again (when we can go see Mtskheta as well)

If there are any must do/see/eat things in Tbilisi that you could recommend, that would be much appreciated, but I’m sure we can discuss them at dinner as well.

Best regards and looking forward to seeing you again,

Tuomas

Dear Tuomas,

I hope you are doing well. I am apologize for late reply.

I am happy to see you in Tbilisi.

1)      23-24 Murch is enough time to see Tbilisi, Mtskheta (old Capital, nice place)

2)      Also if you are interested -  Signagi (old city near Tbilisi – one hour from Tbilisi) and winery (how wine is prepared…)

3)      To see Karbegi it is great choice… it is wonderful. There are some nice hotels and guest houses to stay there

4)      Go to Batumi by train is good decision. Batumi is renovated and nice place.

5)      You can also see Kutaisi (Sataplia old  cave with stalagmites and dinosaur footprints…) or Svaneti with old tower…).

On Saturday 23 we will see you on dinner.

With best regards, Keti

Hi Ketevan,

My trip to Georgia with my girlfriend is getting closer J

We’ve both been really busy, so haven’t really had enough time to plan the trip… Could I bother you with some questions? We arrive 1am the night between Friday March 22nd and Saturday 23rd and fly back Saturday the 30th.

We are planning on staying in Tbilisi at least from Friday to Monday.

I think on Monday we would like to go to Kazbegi and the Gergeti Trinity Church. They should be worth a visit, right? Maybe spend the night there.

Do you think taking a train to the coast to Batumi is worth it? This could be from Tuesday to Thursday, and then spend Thursday to Saturday in Tbilisi. Or would you think it’s a better idea to stay close to Tbilisi and maybe visit Mtskheta?

Any other things we absolutely should do? J

Also, would you like to have dinner with us on Saturday the 23rd? It would be nice to see you again. You could also invite the other guys I met when you visited Helsinki.

Any help is appreciated, but don’t feel you need to, if you’re busy!

Best Regards,

Tuomas
