The workshop aims to strengthen understanding of Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries on the role of Generations and Gender Programme in providing robust data for addressing demographic changes, based on the recent experience of other countries in the region. This event is possible thanks to financial and technical support of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova, UNFPA Regional and Country Office and the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI)
At the event will attend 40 participants from 17 countries and over 1,5 days it would be presented and discussed the experience of 4 countries that recently conducted the Generations and Gender Survey: Kazakhstan, Belarus, Poland, and Germany. In addition, the coordinators of the Generations and Gender Programme – NIDI, will present the new round that would be officially launched in 2020, as well as the methodology that would be used.
