Dear Audrius
Many thanks for your e-mail and plans to support us with COVID19 response. These are all great ideas. I am forwarding this e-mail to Madam Tamila Barkalaia for her inputs on employment support models.
I’ve also CCed Lela Akiashvili at the Prime Minister’s administration for her thoughts on domestic violence related initiatives.

Subject: Our contribution Covid-19
Dear Vice-minister,
I hope this email finds you well. We are continuing our activities and I would like to inform you that we are reflecting as well on the additional support, due to Covid-19 issues, in the frame of our project.
Firstly, we discussed on how we can contribute with some help for Internally displaced persons: I contacted IDP and Eco-migrants agency and I asked about the urgent needs for IDPs communities (masks, disinfection items etc.). We are planning to get these needs and we will take a decision in Expertise France.
Secondly, we have pilot project in Samtskhe-Javakheti region, where we are working with 3 hospitals and local staff. Our partners - Georgian association of social workers will evaluate the need as well.
In addition, we are discussing on how we can support the Ministry as well. For example, the support for information campaigns (Covid-19 issues, domestic violence during lock-down); preparation for the employment support models after the lock-down (aiming to stimulate the growth of employment and support for the unemployment, based on the example of EU countries).
If you have any ideas on how we can support the Ministry amid this outbreak, please let us know.
I wish you good health and stay safe!
Yours faithfully, Audrius Bitinas
