Dear Tamar, Tamila and Niko,

We understand from Nino Moroshkina you confirmed your availability for today at 6 PM Tbilisi time. Lela will kindly send the webex coordinates shortly.  We’ll share the connection details with our AIIB colleagues as well.

It would be good if somebody from the finance team in MOH and LEPL Social Services Agency participates as well so that we can clarify few aspects of the unemployment benefit payments to beneficiaries (as well as audits and controls).

Warm regards,

Maddalena

Dear Tamar, Tamila, and Niko,

If you are available, we would like to schedule a call tomorrow. Does 8 am Washington (4 pm Tbilisi) work for you? Alternatively, we can set up the call at 10 am Washington (6 pm Tbilisi)? We will share the WebEx link once you confirm.

We would like to discuss:

  1. Timeline for setting up Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and preparing Project Operations Manual (POM)
  2. Confirming dates for appraisal (April 24, Friday?) and negotiations (April 30, Thursday?)
  3. We have also a few project design questions, some of these questions are needed to answer peer-reviewers questions:
    1. More information on how quarantine cost estimated
    2. How global budget to cover private sector revenue lost estimated
    3. Methodology for case management budget allocation (# of cases estimated, estimated average cost, etc.)
    4. current efforts on “contract tracing”
  4. Following up Luis’s email (attached), MOF’s decision for
    1. the amount in “loan choice worksheet”
    2. using the total amount of the loan vs partial disbursed amounts as the amount to fix the rate
  5. Procurement capacity assessment and Environmental and Social Commitment Plan (ESCP)
  6. Confirmation of signing documents electronical with “docusign”.
  7. Other issues

Best,

Volkan & Maddalena
