Subject: EUMM grant

Dear Kim,

I hope this email finds you well.

Thank you for your support.

As agreed, we are sending you our questions:

Who is the contact person on the Georgian side who knows more details?

MoH questions:

  1. Only PPEs listed in the file “Nnecessities_29.02.2030.xlsx” can be purchased if the number of PPEs can be changed according to the estimates available in the Ministry of health?
  2. Will the Ministry of Health be the recipient of the grant?
  3. Should we specify "3. Equipment and supplies" in the budget file?
  4. What is the project duration? 3 months? 6 month?

Questions from the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia and the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia

1. Is it determined which medical institutions (clinics/hospitals) on the occupied territory of Abkhazia will be the beneficiaries of the EUMM action?

2. Have the needs and necessities been studied and identified?

3. Will the equipment (due to a certain deficit) be selected based on the resources of the current suppliers on the Georgian market or is there an alternative resource?

4. Are the COVID-19 test-systems being considered for purchase?

5. Does this action include the training of medical staff?

 6. Where and how do you see our involvement?

Thank you in advance,

With best regards, Keti
