Dear Ms Goginashvili,
We are most grateful for the review and comments provided by the Ministry on the draft case study report “Public-Private Partnership accountability in UHC for women’s, children’s
and adolescents’ health in Georgia”.
The comments have been carefully reviewed and considered by the Georgia country team in the finalization of the case study. The final draft of the case study is attached. It
is our privilege to have Georgia as one of the five case studies in the IAP report, with the aim to amplify the voices of women and adolescents and key stakeholders, and to learn from their lived experiences. These country learnings are instrumental to the
IAP’s global report to better understand some of the complex challenges and to inform the IAP’s recommendations.
We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Georgia on its continued leadership at the global level. We note Georgia’s leading role as one of the co-facilitators
for the intergovernmental reviews of ECOSOC and the HLPF and look forward to learning about the outcomes of this process. In this spirit, we would be honored to work with Georgia as part of the co-host governments (including Japan and South Africa) for the
IAP 2020 Report launch event at the HLPF in July 2020.
With sincere appreciation for your collaboration,
Ilze
