Dear PMNCH Members,

It is a great pleasure to share that, as you may know, we launched the PMNCH 2021-2025 Strategy at our annual Accountability Breakfast held on the side of the UN General Assembly. This was a significant moment for all of us as September 2020 marked 15 years since PMNCH was created.

As this strategy will guide our efforts during the next 5 years, the secretariat has developed a multi-phase dissemination plan with tailored communication assets and outreach processes. This plan targets PMNCH members and external audiences for broad sensitization/buy-in to the Strategy, both for partnership and resource mobilization purposes.

To show the great collaborative effort that this strategy represents, the dissemination plan includes different activities; from the screening of our dedicated film about the strategy at the Accountability Breakfast, to interviews with EC/SC Members representing different constituencies (attached you will find the dissemination plan with detailed activities and reach). Please do share your ideas with us about what else can be added to the plan to help ensure that our Strategy is taken up by all members, as well as shared with those outside of our current membership.

We also want to encourage you to join our dissemination efforts and share the Strategy with your networks; we suggest three different ways:

  1. Sharing the Strategy on Social media. To help you with this, I have attached 4 social media cards for your dissemination, which explain the objectives of this strategy. At the bottom of this email you can also find suggested posts for you to share on your social media accounts.
  2. Additionally, we will have a dedicated e-blast about the Strategy to be released in October to our 7,000+ PMNCH subscribers, and we will disseminate the translated versions of our strategy with you as well when they are ready. When the time comes, we would appreciate if you can share these with your networks too.
  3. Finally, we will be developing 5-minute video clips featuring interviews with SC/EC and board members talking about what is new and valuable about the Strategy. If you wish to be part of these interviews, do let us know and we will follow up with you.

Warm regards,

Helga
